Project Description

Project Description

For GIASS 2025, Unictive designed and delivered a series of interactive digital and physical games under the theme of joy and engagement. The goal was to create experiences that were not only fun but also memorable, blending technology, creativity, and playful competition to attract and delight visitors of all ages.

Each game was carefully crafted to encourage participation, trigger curiosity, and leave visitors with a unique impression of the event. From AI-powered photo booths to giant board games and motion-based challenges, Unictive transformed the event space into an interactive playground of innovation.

What made these games stand out was the way they blended technology with fun, ensuring everyone—from children to adults—could enjoy the activities. Every game was customizable, allowing flexibility for different brands or event themes. By balancing competition, creativity, and rewards, Unictive successfully maximized visitor engagement and created a joyful atmosphere throughout the event.

Highlight Features

Highlight Features

  • Piano Tiles – “Bahagia Sejak Pertama”
Visitors could step or tap along to music in this fast-paced rhythm game. The challenge of keeping up with the tempo created a burst of excitement, while the combination of music and movement naturally drew a crowd. It was an experience that was as entertaining to watch as it was to play.
  • Giant Snakes & Ladders – “Step of Joy”
Bringing back a childhood classic in a larger-than-life format, this game invited players to physically move across a giant board. The experience brought out laughter, nostalgia, and teamwork, making it a family-friendly highlight that appealed to both kids and adults in equal measure.
  • Fix & Joy Match (Card Matching Game)
In this game, participants tested their memory and reflexes by matching pairs of cards within a set time limit. The simple yet addictive mechanic encouraged visitors to try again and again, sparking friendly competition and excitement as they challenged friends or attempted to beat their own best score.
  • Fix & Joy Match (Quiz Edition)
The quiz edition of Fix & Joy Match turned the fun into something even more interactive by replacing images with knowledge-based questions. Participants had to match the right answers, which not only made the game entertaining but also educational—perfect for weaving in brand messages or fun trivia that kept players both engaged and informed.
  • Photo Booth ID Card – “Capture Your Joy”
This booth allowed visitors to step in, pose, and instantly receive a custom-designed ID-style card with their own photo. It was a playful twist on something usually formal, transforming an ordinary ID card into a fun and collectible souvenir that people were excited to take home.
  • Digital Claw Machine (Redemption Game)
Inspired by the nostalgic arcade classic, this claw machine offered participants the thrill of trying their luck in a digital format. Every attempt carried the excitement of possibly winning, with prizes redeemable for real merchandise. It turned a familiar experience into a modern, tech-enhanced activity that ensured people walked away with both smiles and rewards.
  • Miyu-Chan the Explorer
This adventure game introduced visitors to a charming character, Miyu-Chan, who guided them through interactive challenges. With its story-driven format and cute design, the game especially appealed to younger audiences, creating a sense of exploration and discovery that kept them engaged.
  • Joymotion
Using Unictive’s own motion sensor technology, Joymotion transformed body movements into the main control of the game. Players didn’t need controllers—just their energy and enthusiasm—making the activity highly engaging, interactive, and physically fun. It was a perfect example of how technology can make people feel like part of the game itself.
